George Floyd loved music

George had a history with music as an artist with the Screwed Up Click, Presidential Records, RTG Music Group, and a few others. It was always a dream of George Floyd’s.

This foundation is an opportunity to honor George Floyd’s legacy, and also create an avenue and an opportunity for kids from his community (Third Ward, Houston). Living in an underserved and underexposed area, it is important to our organization that these youth receive the education and skills necessary to succeed in music and the world around them.

It is our goal to provide a safe haven for the youth and aspiring artists to learn music composition, music production, music business, live performance training and opportunities, and creative writing skills. For the child who doesn’t aspire to have a career in music, the education and mentorships received through this foundation will hopefully give them a head start that can be applied to every day life getting them one step closer to being a productive member of society.
